In 1985, Terry along with his wife Brenda, decided that it was time to branch out on his own and Terry’s Fleet & Auto, Inc. was established and began operation in a two-car garage. Within 4 years his business had expanded to such a demand that a more accommodating facility was necessary. In 1989 Terry moved his business to a four bay garage on Morgan Street, near downtown Martinsville. It was at this new location that the addition of a complete machine shop was made.

In 1999 it was once again determined that his business had grown to such a capacity that the four bay garage was no longer accommodating. After searching for an appropriate location, land was purchased and the construction of a new 8 bay facility began in 2000. The name of Terry’s Fleet & Auto, Inc. was officially changed to Towne View Auto Clinic, Inc.

HISTORY

Terry Buster, owner, has been in the automotive industry for 39 years. He began learning the automotive repair trade at the age of 8 years old, working in his father’s shop. Upon graduation of high school he attended Midwest Technical Institute located in Kansas City, MO. Upon graduation from Midwest Tech. he gained employment at dealerships such as Ford and Chevrolet and continued his automotive education and mastered his profession by becoming the top mechanic at both organizations.
